The 1957 Seamaster 300 is a legendary watch though, just like its competitors from Rolex and Blancpain.The choice link of this color combination confers on the cars a masculine, sporty, and elegant personality.Like many of the brand's watches, the 03Series Salm0n has a two-layered dial.This is one of my all-time favorite watches. First released back in 2009, the Richard Lange "Pour le Merite" is one of the most superlative time-only watches ever made, and possibly the best one being serially made today. On the wrist, the watch looks like a simple three-hander, with the 40.5mm case containing a white enamel dial punctuated by inky black roman numerals and blued hands. It's classic and good looking, but without rubbing your faceIn all, 468 of these watches have been produced across a few editions. There are 50 in platinum with a white dial like you see here, as well as 200 in pink gold from the original edition and 218 in white gold with a black enamel dial from an edition released last year.</br>
We've seen mission patches in the 9 o'clock sub dial, link use of colors (remember the Apollo 15 dialor Gemini IV Speedy?) but seldomly the fact that they used rare materials (except for this recent Meteorite Soyuz-Apollo limited edition).Last year, we were most impressed with the brand's monochromatic Classic Fusion Essential Grey and the 38mm Big Bang Integrated.I also still cannot get past the fact that the reading of the chronograph really makes more sense with the orange-tipped hands, while the black hands sort of feel foreign in those sub-registers. One could very well imagine those black hands were intended for another chronograph with a different dial, while the orange-tipped ones seem destined from birth to be with the blue theme of the dial and main handset.The new Carrera 160 Years Montreal Limited Edition is not a re-edition per se. Rather, this watch takes from the DNA of both the Carrera and the Montreal to create a very unique watch. The new model does not explicitly say Montreal anywhere on the dial, but it embodies the soul of that watch through its overall appearance and use of bold colors. The yellow, red, and blue flourishes throughout the new limited edition speak to the celebration of the original Montreal model.</br>
